** April 24, 2023 - A study session will be held by the Redwood City council and Planning commission to determine if this proposed project has merits for an Environment Impact Review.
January 13, 2023 - The Community Development & Transportation Department issued a 20- page letter to Longfellow's revised application of November 30th, 2022. The department held the revised application incomplete.

November 30, 2022 - Longfellow submitted a revised application responding to the Community Development & Transportation Department October 28 letter. No change to the plan except few additional technical details. See details proposed plan please click here.
October 28, 2022 - The Community Development & Transportation Department issued a 4- page letter to Longfellow requiring a revised application to address housing, transportation/traffic, building heights, sea level rise, childcare and hotel issues. To read details of this letter please click here.
August 10, 2022 - The Planning department is still finalizing the date for the council review which likely be the end of this year. Their review would involve considering whether to move forward in studying changes to the Westport Specific Plan. It would not include reviewing all the specifics of the Longfellow development proposal.
August 4, 2022 - Redwood City Planning department sent a project initial review letter with comments from multiple departments to Longfellow Redwood LIFE applicant.
June 6, 2022 - Longfellow submitted an application to redevelop Redwood LIFE to Redwood City Planning department.
