STOP Redwood LIFE!
3.3 million square feet
Current Proposed Plan in Redwood Shores
Who we are
Stop Redwood LIFE is an independent grass-roots movement of Redwood Shores and surrounding neighbors and the leading force opposing the Redwood LIFE 3.3 million square feet massive life science redevelopment along Marine Parkway and Belmont Slough.
We have been submitting signatures on our petition to the Redwood City Council and Planning Commission since October 2021 to express our opposition to the proposed plan's massive size.
These are fundamentals that best describe our movement:
Organizational: we are an independent grassroots movement of residents of Redwood Shores, Redwood City and surrounding cities.
Operation mode: we DO NOT solicit donations to fund our activities. We grow our movement exclusively through NETWORKING.
Approach: we FOCUS on one objective: STOP the 3.3 million sq. ft. Redwood LIFE redevelopment plan. We consistently pressure the city council to hear us by submitting signatures for our petition.
Goal: our primary goal is to STOP the massive 3.3 million square feet Redwood LIFE redevelopment. Our movement continues collecting and submitting signatures opposing the 3.3 million square feet proposed plan until we have a substantially smaller alternative plan.
The Stop Redwood LIFE movement was started by Brigitte and Earl, 30-years residents of Redwood City.
