Redwood LIFE
MASSIVE Redevelopment
in Redwood Shores
Who we are
Stop Redwood LIFE is the leading force opposing the Redwood LIFE massive life science redevelopment along Marine Parkway and Belmont Slough. We are an independent grassroots movement of Redwood Shores and surroundings neighbors who are united to stop Redwood LIFE and protect our quality of life. We have been voicing our opposition to the Redwood City Council and Planning Commission by collecting and submitting signatures on our petition since October 2021.
These are fundamentals that best describe our movement:
Organizational: we are an independent grassroots movement of residents of Redwood Shores and surrounding cities.
Operation mode: we DO NOT solicit donations to fund our activities. We grow our movement exclusively through NETWORKING.
Approach: we focus on only one objective: STOP Redwood LIFE redevelopment. We consistently pressure the city council to hear us by submitting signatures for our petition weekly.
Our only objective is to stop Redwood LIFE. Because of its massive size it will cause negative impacts on Redwood Shores, and surrounding neighbors quality of life.
Note: We are not against biotechnology developments. We oppose this massive campus built in the middle of a residential area that will take 20 years to complete.
The Stop Redwood LIFE movement was started by Brigitte and Earl, 30-years residents of Redwood City.
